Navigation In Space

Today in Science we have a set of questions about our Solar system and galaxy. We had a set of questions to do on our blog, I enjoyed doing Science because it is one of my favourite subjects in school, in science we are learning about Space, today we did Navigation in space, last week we did communication in space and communication challenge.

What is a Solar System? What is a Milky Way an example of?
A Solar System is where we have the BIG star (AKA the Sun) and a bunch of other planets around it.

What is a star? Describe a Nebula.
A Nebula is a giant cloud of dust and gas in space. The collapse of its own gravity causes the material the centre of the cloud to heat up and this hot core is the beginning of a star.

How do stars die?
The stars die when they explode, which will cause a supernova and we will all probably die.

Is there an up or down in space?
No there is no up or down in space because it can mess with the human brain.

How can stars be used to navigate?
Back in the old days, the Pacific islanders used the stars to navigate them selfs, they used their hands and mark the stars using their fingers, like in Moana!!

What was hard, nothing was hard, what was easy everything, what did you enjoy the communication challenge, what did you least enjoy, nothing I loved doing everything!!

Question for viewers: Have you seen the movie Moana??
