A battle of words-Heather Christie
Today we are doing a blog post about our reading book. We are tring to predict what will happen to the characters. We are using sheets to help us. One is character inference chart, word in investigation chart and I wonder chart. the main characters are P.S McGinnity and C.V Molesworth. At the start of the story a new neighbor started to live next door to C.V Molesworth she was angry because she doesn't like P.S McGinnity she wish that everything was back to the way it was.

Today we are doing prediction about this ladder going in the sky. we first write what happend before the man got the ladder. Then we write what happend when he was climbing. After we had to write what happend after he climbed the ladder. What was a challenge: predicting what will happen. What was easy: everything was easy.

Be the change
Today we did a poem about kindness we make a new doc on our drive in our writing folder write a poem about what kindness means to us. For me kindness means to take care of our environment and keep our environment tidy, taking care of others in the school grounds\outside of the school grounds. After we brainstormed our ideas on a giant piece of paper and wrote our poem about what kindness means. After we finished our writing we blogged it. And here's my poem.

Hokey
Today we had Peter from Canterbury Hokey visit us today. In hockey we were learning about how to stop the ball. First we did dribbling we had to imagine the ball was stuck to the stick with bubble gum. After that we learnt how to stop and dodge other players. We had to control the ball at all times.
Lastly we played a game like "Rob The Nest." we had to use the hockey sticks to get the balls. We had four teams with one hoop at each corner, and one hoop in the middle. We had to get the balls from the middle, once all the balls are gone from the middle we had to steal from the other teams, until the times up.
I found the dribbling hard.
I found the games easy.
I learnt that when you play hockey the ball can't touch your feet.
