Today in Science period 3, we have to list safety rules in the lab and we also learnt how to light Bunsen burners. These are some simple rules that you have to do in the lab. What was easy, lighting the Bunsen burner, what was hard, nothing was hard for me. My goal today was to light a bunsen burner and teach others how to do it, and I achieved that goal.
The rules for the lab are:
Don't eat/drink in the lab,
Make sure you have your hair tied up,
No running in the lab,
Wear safety glasses when doing practicals,
Stand when doing practicals,
Keep your area clean - keeping your bag on the floor,
When you finish with equipment put it bag where it belongs,
Make sure you have covered shoes in the lab,
If something gets broken tell a teacher or you will get in more trouble.
