Here is my Diamante Poem:
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Diamante Poem
Yesterday we started to learn about a Diamante poem. A Diamante poem is a poem that is written in a shape formed in a shape like a diamond. We wrote about The Taniwha and The Rakia Gorge, the characters are Te Maru (the wind) and the Taniwha. The Diamante poem has 7 lines, the first line is starting object, the second line is two words describing line 1, line three, three doing words (verbs about line 1), line four a short phrase about line 1 and line 2, line five is three doing words (verbs about line 7) line six, two describing words about line seven, line seven ending subject.
