Sophie Pascoe
For our Hurumanu work in lockdown, we had to create a slideshow about Shopie Pascoe. In our slide, we had specific things we had to include, like how many medals she has won, how many Paralympics she has competed in, and how she is a Paralympian. Sophie Pascoe was in a lawnmower accident at the age of 2 cutting her leg below her knee. My favorite part of this was putting information about her onto the slides. I enjoyed this activity because I got to learn more information about her.

What a fantastic presentation Riansha! Your work's packed with interesting facts and delightful pics to back it up. Do you ever wonder what Sophie's life will be like once she's finished competing in Tokyo?
ReplyDeleteKa pai Riansha. You have researched Sophie well. I especially enjoyed your slide with her table of medals above the swimming races.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you enjoyed learning about her. She has since won 3 more medals and may even get a fifth medal. What a remarkable swimmer!
Just one thing to improve on is that she trains 14 times per week (twice a day). Commitment eh! Mrs Hastie
