Maori Battalions
Today in period 4 we are doing questions for the Maori Battalions. In our folder, we had a doc with quotations and we have to answer 3 questions. We have answered these questions before in our book as drafts but I got my good draft and copied the questions from there. The 3 questions are 1:Why were the soldiers as 28 (Maori) Battalion heroes? 2:Why were the stretcher Bearers heroes? 3:Why were hard-working soldiers leaders heroes? My answer to number 1 is they are heroes because they fought for their country and they took the Germans and enemy's weapons to save their own country. My answer to question 2 is they went around the battlefield evacuated the wounded and saved everyone's lives. My answer for question 3 is leaders who worked hard to avoid dangerous hazards, and looked after their soldiers and risked their lives. What was hard: nothing was hard. What was easy: writing my answers was easy.
