Gummy Bear Osmosis

Last week for Science period 2 we did an experiment (gummy bear osmosis). we had 3 different solutions there was a sugar solution, a salt solution and a water solution. We got 3 Petri dishes and poured the 3 solutions into each petri dish, after we put 2 gummy bears into each petri dish, then we left it for 25 1/2 hours. Then the next day period 3 we poured the water out of the Petri dishes and we took the lid off and looked for what has changed. I noticed that the gummy bear grew and lost the bottom of its colour.
