This term for art we have been making our own logos. We are creating a combination logo. A combination logo is where it has a logo and letters. My logo is a circle with leaves on it and my name in the middle. My favourite part of this is making my logo design. The design process is easy, we first made a brainstorm with things about us and made it on our A3 paper. After we got another A3 paper and folded it into 4 sections after we drew our logos from our brainstorm, then we choose one to have as an official logo. After we have our logo, we reverse our logo, next we trace it onto a piece of lino after we carve it. The positive spaces in this picture is my name, some of the leaves and the outline of the circle. The negative spaces are the rest.
Kia Ora Riansha, You have put quite a bit of effort into this design, especially the drawing of the leaves and script writing. A design that utilizes more of a balance between positive and negative space might be easier to cut out and have a different kind of visual impact. Well done.
