This term we are doing a STEAM Kete. We have to work in groups of four, I worked with Mikhanya, Sovereign, and Aone. Our topic is fashion and e-textiles. We have to create something that we can wear in 2050. Our group has chosen to make Traditional Maori clothing. Our group has decided to make a Maori cloak and a couple of pois. The feathers are going to made out of paper, the cloak base is going to be made of recycled fabric. We are going to use black, brown and white paper feathers. Each one of us has a role to finish this kete, Mikhanya is making the cloak with me, and Sovereign and Aone are making the Poi's.
