Week one (in the beginning) day 1: arriving to New Zealand

1. I did not know that Maui had a grandmother
2.I did not know that their island was called Hawaiki

                                                                                                                                                                           This is the north island that Maui pulled out of the sea when Maui's brothers were watching him.

Life education

At Life Education we learnt about our body our hearts, lungs and brains if the brain says "i had enough of thinking i want to be the heart" then the human is dead if the heart says "i want to be the lungs" the human is dead if the lungs say "i want to be the brain" the human is dead.

The last two weeks we have been doing how to brush your teeth for 3-5 years old-nothing was hard and everything was easy.

In science today we did something to do with explosions. first we got a empty bottle then put 1\3 vinegar in the bottle then put two teaspoons of baking soda on the bottle then quickly put the cork in the bottle top then watch what happens.

 

for calendar art this week we have learnt to make symmetrical shapes into a pattern. First we sketched our shape on withe paper then we drawled our shapes on colored paper then we organised our shapes the way we want it to be after we were done. it was kind of hard to cut the shapes out.

For Reading we Were reading 3 novels and had to make Y charts about them. What Do you know about novels? I know That They are books that you can ask questions about. What do you know about the charters? Well I know that the girls are all wearing a red top and keebo's best friend was wearing a maroon top. What Do you Know About Asking Questions? When I ask questions I know that there are different types of question for me to ask about my learning.


The main characters are:

Runaway Alien: the class, Keebo and the teacher.

Mystery at number seven: Miranda, ABC gang and Mum

Moving on: Tess, Granma, Braia, Nathan and Dad

Hokey pokey

In Mrs jacks literacy for the last two weeks we made hokey pokey for me nothing was hard for me and everything was easy for me and Mrs jack told us to write an explanation and i'm done.

Disgusting dinner, with Mr breach (teacher) and Mr goodin (my teacher) did writing called disgusting dinner. What was hard: thinking of gross words was hard for me. What was easy: everything was easy for me.

In Maori we wrote about our mi hi nothing was challenging and everything was easy. First we wrote our mi hi in our books then I wrote it in my chrome book and last of all I got my photos. Mrs jack ( My Teacher) sent them to me and then I put my photos. After that I put Maori pictures and that was it.

Art Tattoo

For art we did tattoo's i learnt if you have i big tattoo you have to have it on your back if your back, is small you can't have it on your back. 1 we drawled something that means to us. 2 drawled something that's related to our culture. 3 trace our design on paper. 4 put it on our blog  it was last 4 or 5 week's to do. For me nothing was challenging. For me everything was easy. That was everything my blog BYE!

In Mrs Jack's Reading Group We did chinese new year it wa sfun we did the loin and dragon dance.

The last two weeks i have been learning about Matariki it was really fun.

What was new for me: I never knew that Matariki is the mother and the 6 sisters

What was Interesting for me: The stories were interesting

What was hard for me: Nothing was hard for me

In cybersmart we have been doing how to look after your chromebook's.
