Riansha - Decision Making Tree

Today we did a decision making tree about if a babysitter you like is babysitting you and he pulled your pants down what will you do? We had to make three decisions, my three decisions 

1. Ring my mum and tell her,

2. Shout at the babysitter and say STOP, 

3. Go to my neighbors I trust.

Surfing Trip

On Friday the year 5\6's went surfing at Sumner beach, we had to get to school early in the morning around 8:00, soon after the roll we went on the bus to get to the beach, it was half and hour to get there. When we got there we put your bags underneath a tent. The next thing we do we sat on the mat and listen to the instructors on how to surf. Next we get our wet suits on and go surfing in your homerooms, we had two groups the Seals and Dolphins I was a Seal, the Seals went surfing first trys it was hard then I got the hang of it and one of my surfing was so good and when I was coming back to shore my best friend Ethan was laughing at me but it was fun. After lunch we had a sandcastle competition but me and my group made me into a mermaid, after we went boogie boarding but in my opinion surfing is better. After we got changed and went back to school.

Blue Zone Poster

Today we did poster about the blue zone, first we had to put pics about all the emotions in the blue zone, the emotions are sad, moving slowly, bored, tired and sick, after underneath we wrote tools to help us to get back into the green zone. My four tools were talk to someone I trust, take a coffee, computer and water.

What was hard: thinking of things to calm me down
What was easy: putting in the pics of emojis.

Emotions (Angry)

Today for Zones Of Regulation we did a poster about any emotion we want, we worked in groups I worked with James and Son, Miss Williamson gave us a stick man on paper and we choose a emotion and labeled the body features like the hands, feet, face and other things.

What was hard: writing all the labels onto our picture.
What was easy: making our own faces and other things.

2019 Calendar Art

For the past three days Miss Williamson's homeroom did dyeing for their Calendar Art. We did flowers on branches with leaves & the sky was blue, I added a sun & a bumble bee. It was fun even though I wanted to do something else instead of flowers. First we drawed a draft of our picture, then we got our good copy and traced with pencil onto the good copy, after we got our vivid & went over the pencil with the vivid, lastly we dyed our good copy the colors were blue, green, yellow & red, some of us wanted brown but we did not have brown so we mixed red & green to make brown.

What was hard: dyeing my good copy.
What was easy: drawing my draft.

UM Spring Summer Learning Journey Activity 6

Today I started to do Spring Summer Learning Journey. It is what we do in the holidays, each holiday we get a different category this holidays it is food, we have twenty different activity's today i'm doing activity 6 "Create a google drawing of a food you have never tried but want to try explain you would like to eat it." I made a google drawing with a dumpling I never ate dumplings before.

Today I did another Spring Summer Learning Journey. It is what we do in the holidays, each holiday we get a different category this holidays it is food, we have twenty different activity's today i'm doing activity 7, "Choose a country and research the foods they eat. Create a presentation to share the information to your blog." I did Vietnam whet they eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, Christmas, New year and Halloween.
